James G. Powers serves as Executive Vice President, Business Development. In this capacity, his responsibilities include the evaluation, due diligence and contract negotiations of new business opportunities for Mills and Partners and their operating companies. Prior to this position, Mr. Powers was Executive Vice President, Operations with Viasystems Group, Inc. since June 1999. Mr. Powers first joined Viasystems as Vice President, Finance and held that position from January 1997 until June 1999.

Before joining Viasystems, Mr. Powers served as Vice President, Finance of Crain Industries, Inc. He also served in various financial positions with Berg Electronics Corp. including Vice President, Controller from June 1993 to August 1995.

Mr. Powers was also Controller of Moog Automotive, Inc. from 1991 through 1993 and was employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1983 to 1991.

James Powers holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Rockhurst University.
