David J. Webster serves as Senior Vice President of Mills & Partners. Mr. Webster works with the President of Mills & Partners and his primary responsibilities relate to the execution of the firms leveraged acquisition transactions. As such, Mr. Webster is involved in the initial review, selection, due diligence and contract negotiations related to the firms potential acquisition candidates. Mr. Webster is also involved in all aspects of obtaining the financing related to the firms acquisitions, including senior bank financing and public and private debt and equity offerings. Mr. Webster has over fourteen years of experience in public and private security offerings, recapitalizations, restructurings, public and private mergers and acquisitions, including leveraged acquisitions. Since 1988, Mr. Webster has participated in merger and acquisition transactions valued in excess of $30 billion of which over $12 billion were leveraged transactions.
Prior to joining Mills & Partners, Mr. Webster served as the primary legal counsel for Mills & Partners and Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst in connection with their leverage acquisitions. Mr. Webster was a partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP where he practiced law from 1991 to 1997. Prior to joining Weil, Gotshal & Manges, Mr. Webster was employed at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue. Mr. Webster received his BBA from Kent State University and his JD from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. |
